  As an anti bacteria the main mechanism of action is by inhibits DNA gyrase. The activity of DNA gyrase is for replications, transcription, reparations, and recombination of DNA synthesis. The quinolone substance will inhibits the DNA synthesis. It is not clear if the quinolone substance directly inhibits the DNA gyrase or work in other important place. Rifampicin and Chloramphenicol will antagonist the anti bacteria effect of Ciprofloxacin
